This is located at the Safe Schools Institute in Boca Raton and will include a full day of seminars and hand-on workshops.

We will have a Birthday cake for Marconi again whose birthday is 4/25. More details will be posted as we get closer to the meeting date.

Saturday April 26th - 8:00AM-11:00AM (Approximate time) - March of Dimes Walk-A-Thon - Downtown in City Place.
Operators with HT's are needed to man posts along the route. Contact Jerry Grant (WPBARG) or Kevin Jackson (JLRG) for more info and to volunteer. We will have a command post set up in the parking garage and a Ham Radio Public Information booth set up at City Place and expect to also be doing Broadband Hamnet (formerly known as HSMM) with the assistance of the PWARC and have mobile stations on bikes along the route as well. This is a great way to spend a Saturday morning and get public recognition for a public service event. Sign up and be part of the team.

Sunday April 27th - 10:00AM-2:00PM - WPBARG Club Picnic at John Prince Park - Location is the Island Pavilion. Use the Congress Ave Main Entrance and just follow the road all the way to the end. It will turn Left at one point and zig-zag a little but it is the same road and if you just stay on it you will get there. All you can eat - $5 for non members and $3 for members. In addition to the great home made and cooked on site food, we will be doing Fox Hunts with multiple foxes and more radio fun to be announced as we get closer.

Monday April 28th - 7:30PM - Wellington Radio Club meeting -
Meeting location is Fire Station #30, 9610 Stribling Way. This is about 1 mile East of US441/SR7 on the South side of Stribling Way.

Tuesday April 29th - 11:30AM-12:30PM - QCWA monthly meeting and luncheon at the Golden Coral Buffet on US441 just 1/2 block South of Okeechobee Blvd. Even if you are not a QCWA member you are welcome to come and join us.

All the clubs listed here and on our "Clubs/Vendors" page have additional activities so be sure to check out all the other breakfasts, workshops, etc. going on all the time and check into any of the club nets that interest you. Remember Palm Beach is "Radio Active" and there are nets almost every night of the week.
