Meeting Wednesday Apr 24th - New Icom Products
"New Icom Products" presented by Ray Novak, N9JA, from Icom America.
Ray will be joining us via Skype and showing some of the exciting new products like the ID-51A and the IC-7100 and will try to answer all the questions anyone has on the Icom product line.
So bring your questions, see the new toys, and ask away.
Because Ray has to participate in the Ham Nation show the same night we will being reversing the order of things. The presentation will start at 7:00 PM and the meeting itself will follow a little after 8:00 PM. So come early for pre 7PM refreshments and a visit to the Ham Radio Center. Then we will have time for refreshments and eyeball QSO's between the presentation and meeting just after 8PM. As usual we will have a 50/50 drawing (using a new formula!), free door prizes, and Fun!
Our "Lasting Moments of First Excitement" fund raising project is over on Indiegogo, and was not very successful! We know Amateur Radio has had a significant impact on the technological developments of the 20th century. And we want to excite and inspire young minds with Amateur Radio to continue that tradition in the 21st century. The youth of today are not just the future of Amateur Radio but the future of scientific discovery.
